As such most of the functions on vendor central are designed and geared towards bulk purchase, ordering and shipping. One of the biggest ways in which a business can lose money is through Amazon’s chargebacks system.

A chargeback, as it relates to Amazon’s vendor central is a penalty issued to a vendor for non-compliance with Amazon’s terms and conditions of trade. These chargebacks come in the form of penalty fees or penalty costs, which are normally deducted from your remittance from Amazon. That is Amazon deducts, the penalty fee amount from payments that are due to you by Amazon.
