Most advertising campaigns running on Amazon media, linked to a specific product or set of search results. In some cases, advertisers want to showcase a group of related products with additional information like videos or hero images, create a temporary brand page associated with a marketing event or host the terms and conditions for promotion on Amazon.

Campaign landing pages are a solution for these needs supporting advertising campaigns on Amazon’s website and mobile applications. Unlike brand pages managed by Amazon’s retail business campaign landing pages are always associated with display advertising campaigns and usually follow the same shape as those campaigns.

A large hero image is the most common component of a campaign landing page. Three versions of each hero image are required to support multiple platforms such as computer screen table and mobile on desktop browsers. A hero component can also use a video file to create an animated effect. Animated hero components are not supported on tablets and phones.

So a static hero image must be uploaded for those platforms. In addition to the standard backlog image, a hero image component may also contain video players, fire boxes, or linked images.
