When an Amazon customer orders, a product you’ve set up as direct fulfillment, Amazon will notify you and provide a prepaid shipping label. It is imperative that you follow the procedure correctly. So as to avoid any chargebacks related to fulfilling direct fulfillment orders or gaining any negative metrics to your operational performance.
show moreIf you’re unable to fulfill an entire direct fulfillment order, cancel the order. Partially filled orders are not permitted to fulfill a direct fulfillment order. Select the direct fulfillment orders from the dropdown menu of the orders tab on your top menu of vendor central.
Select your order on the next page and print the packing slip and or gift message if applicable, prepare and package your product for shipment in accordance with the direct fulfillment program policies so that it will arrive safety to the Amazon customer. You can adjust the quantity of packages, Amazon assigns to you.
By going to the order details, and clicking, edit in the shipment configuration section, depending on the size of your product, you may want to ship in multiple packages or combine multiple products into a single package, print the shipping label and attach it to the shipment. If you use shipping labels provided by Amazon click print shipping label. If you print your own shipping labels not provided by Amazon, then you must provide Amazon with the tracking ID, contact the carrier and arrange for the package to be picked up after the order has been picked up by the carrier click confirm shipment, clicking confirm shipment before the order has been picked up by the carrier.
Can negatively impact your direct fulfillment metrics. So only confirm the shipment once your carrier has left your warehouse with it.
