An import shipment late booking chargeback means that you did not submit a booking to Amazon’s origin service provider, century distribution systems inc, or CDs 13 days prior to the earliest vendor ship date designated on the purchase order for your import shipment. The amount for this chargeback is 3% of the cost of the product.

Within that timeframe, you are subject to a chargeback, Amazon submits purchase orders with an earliest vendor ship date, and associated ship window to ensure that they receive your products in the timeframe that they expect to sell them. If you do not submit bookings on time, it will cause delays with Amazon’s import transit time that can lead to delays for Amazon’s customers.
