Now that your products are listed and have been allocated in ASIN and are showing up in your product catalog, you can now proceed to upload images for the products. Go to the items tab on the top menu, vendor central and select upload images from the dropdown menu. Select the, as listed that you would like to upload images for and click on the manage images button in the top right corner of the page. On the next page, click on the yellow upload images button, and proceed to upload the relevant images you have prepared for your product listing. Once they have all been upload.
show moreYou can then click on each one that has been processed successfully and select from the dropdown menu, which image suffix you would like for each image. That is, which is the most important image down to the least reported. Some examples are as follows and it does help to name your images already with the relevant suffix before you upload them.
Main or main refers to the main image that will appear as the thumbnail on the search pages. And as the first image showed in large on the product listing page PTO one PTO, two cetera, refers to follow up images. SWCH refers to a swatch image. There are other suffixes that refer to the right side, left side, bottom side, top side, etc of the product.
And you are welcome to use these. If they are more relevant than the standard PTO one suffix. If your image is rejected. Vendor central will tell you, and you will need to revisit the Amazon image requirements as per earlier video. When we were talking about preparing your product information before adding your products on vendor central, in order to find out why the image was rejected.
Once you have amended it, you can then try and upload the image again, either via the upload images icon at the bottom of the manage images page or by clicking the yellow upload images button at the top of the manage images page.
