Receiving feedback is just like the old saying you never know, unless you ask most customers just don’t think about offering seller feedback, provide customers with an easy way to provide seller feedback and then simply ask. So what’s the best way to compose an email request first and for most. Create a subject line that grabs a buyer’s attention. People’s inboxes are flooded all day with all kinds of communications. Some are solicitations, others are friends, more notices or announcements. The list goes on. So unless the subject line is engaging and of interest to the shopper, they will bypass right by it and move on to the next email.

An email requesting feedback has to be open. Otherwise the buyer will not see the request for feedback. Email must be opened by the buyer and a catchy and engaging subject line is the first step in making your email stand out. The second step is to provide the buyer with an easy method of responding by including a link.

The link should go directly to the feedback page also. The email should include a buyer message, an image of what product the customer purchased and image provides a visual reminder of the product. Especially if the buyer bought multiple items, an image connects to request with the product you’ll want to make it as easy as possible and avoid any customer confusion.

And if it’s applicable, you can also include a tip in the email on how to use the product, set it up as something else that provides value to the customer.
