Optimizing Content for Mobile Shopping

Transcription

While bullet points are now below the fold in their unfortunate new location. You know how important they are from desktop view, bullet points now fall under the features and details header text, which helps stop the eye and break up the text content a little bit. As we have been preaching the scanability gospel, the strategy remains the same here.

With bullet points, it’s important to create some hierarchy. This can be achieved a couple of ways. Our most favorite way is by using all caps when listing off features and this example for dessert, stand the bullet points each start with a feature or benefit set an all caps and with bracket. This ensures that these pieces of information get ready first, because it creates contrast with the rest of the copy.

This strategy greatly improves the reading experience and makes it easy for the shopper to pull out the key information that you have worked so hard to write.
