For better or for worse, Amazon has some of the most brutally honest reviewers on the internet. If there’s something to be said about an item, they’ll say it. That’s why it’s especially impressive. When Amazon products have thousands of reviews and the vast majority of them are positive. So, how do you utilize a top reviews and creating conversion focused copy for your brand on Amazon?

Well, first you need to know what our top reviews many believe they are the most positive reviews for a particular product. That’s an incorrect assumption. Top reviews are based on the Amazon reviewer rank. You may have noticed that underneath each product review there was an option to select whether the review was helpful or not.

This is a very simple system where the Amazon browser has the option to click on helpful to determine if the review is indeed helpful. This is a useful vote that adds more influence into the customer opinion to person who is voting. Also has the option to leave a comment if they so desire. Amazon uses a simple algorithm, which logs, how many times our review is voted helpful and then sorts reviews into date order with the most recent review scoring highest.

These top reviews are proven to be valuable pieces of information about the product voted as such by the Amazon shopper.
