Customer reviews sometimes reveal the personalities of loyal customers who have purchased the product and continue to make purchases with close to 18,000 customer comment. Death wish coffee can really get the tone and type of customers that are buying their product. They can see if their brand voice is reflected in the type of customer they are targeting and actually reaching one approach is to review the words and tone of the customer’s reviews.

Let’s continue to analyze death wish coffee. The product packaging clearly shows that their brand is not a typical coffee product. Just the name alone reveals a different kind of company death wish coffee company. Also the choice of icon used in the logo brings out the uniqueness of the brand, a skull with crossbones, the tagline, the world’s strongest coffee.

Compliments to skull imagery against a black bag to drive that point home a person who drinks this really strong coffee is looking for a death wish. It’s a good marketing play, but let’s see if customers’ comments reveal. What type of people are looking for a death wish. When Lansing in the review section, the very first review immediately depicts a customer with a sense of humor.

The comments states by my second cup, I no longer needed a keyboard or mouse as I was able to control my computer directly with my thoughts. And the reviewer continues to go on with clear verbiage about drinking a fourth cup of coffee. The second review also shows a person with a personality. The comment is after about the third cop, I decided to start to kitchen demolition.

I had always wanted to do, but I forgot to turn off the water beforehand. Then I thought I always wanted an indoor pool. Then I thought I should cut a hole in a roof to accommodate a skylight for the pool. Everything is going according to plan, but I need more coffee now. I need to start on installing the diamond board.

The reviewer definitely has a sense of humor and here’s another one. My wife wanted a cup, but the coffee maker jumped off the counter beats, a refrigerator, like a JV wrestler. And another one, if this is your first. I’m serious here, heed my warning. Or you could end up cleaning your entire house, doing all your yard work, making love to your partner, waxing your car, building a garage, or a single handedly.

Raising the Titanic all on your own. All in the first hour after drinking this wonderful coffee you have been want. We just saw on this first page alone, four examples of customers with great personalities, these reviewers didn’t just say, wow, this is strong coffee. They described how drinking the coffee makes them behave in a funny tongue in cheek way.

It’s evident that people who buy this coffee have an engaging personality and the brand should think about applying some of this fun energy and engaging enthusiasm about their brand, into their products message.
