Amazon Frustration Free Packaging

Transcription

So what exactly are these three tiers of the frustration free packaging program? We’re glad you asked. Tier one is FFP, which stands for frustration. Repackaging. Tier two is SIOC, which stands for ships in owners container and tier three P F P. Stands for prep, free packaging. Great. But that doesn’t explain exactly what each is.

Let’s explain a little more fully tier one for frustration. Free packaging is essentially for products that are packaged without needing additional preparation or over boxing from Amazon. Tier two for ships and own container is basically that the product has to ship in its own packaging, but it’s normally for larger products, which will go into a little later.

Tier three for preparation fee packaging is for products that require no additional preparation from Amazon, but an over box is required for shipping the product. Like our example of your handbag product simply packed in a plastic bag.
