Seller Central: Promotions, Coupons and Deals

In this course, we are going to be looking at all the different types of advertising you can do on the Seller Central platform itself. These being deals, coupons, prime exclusive discounts, and promotions such as social media promo codes, free shipping, percentage off, and buy one get one free. For this section, we will look at the first of these deals.
show moreThere are two types of deals you can create on Seller Central and they are as follows, lightning deals and seven-day deals. Lightning deals are flash sales where product spreadsheet for four to 12 hours depending on the local on the Amazon deal’s page. Seven-day deals are also featured on the Amazon Deals page, but for up to seven days at a time for both deals, you have a minimum discount allowed in order to be able to run these deals.
And we will go through where you can locate this information in a later section for each of these deals. The maximum deal price that is suggested when creating a deal takes into consideration the lowest price from a seller offering a product in new condition. The deal price may fluctuates if any changes are made to the current price and you cannot raise the price while the deal is running.
For both deals, you will also need to select a quantity you are willing to sell on the deal. Make sure that you have the proposed quantity at least seven days before the scheduled dates as your deal could be canceled if there was insufficient inventory at the time of the deal.
