You can prevent this chargeback by ensuring that the content of your advanced shipment notification is complete and accurate prior to shipping provide all required and accurate information in your advanced shipment notifications for each shipment within 30 minutes of truck departure or six hours prior to the shipment reaching an Amazon fulfillment center for small parcel shipment.

It is critical for Amazon’s fulfillment center staff to receive the correct information in the advanced shipment notification for all shipments by matching the expected contents to the physical shipment for the PRO number to be valid. It must match the PRO number provided by the carrier in the carrier appointment request for small parcel shipments, individual carton level tracking IDs must be included in the advanced shipment notification to avoid chargebacks.
