A no carton content label chargeback means that Amazon was unable to recognize or scan a barcode on some cartons in your shipment at their fulfillment center. The following notes can accompany a no carton content label chargeback. Unable to recognize carton content labels. This means that your carton or package did not have any of the approved carton content labels, or they were unable to be read by Amazon’s imaging system.

This means that Amazon recognized that you did not include your license plate information in the advanced shipment notification for auto receive or the G 10 14 barcode has unusable mapping. This means that Amazon did not find a license plate label or a 2d barcode packing slip on your carton, but they did recognize a G 10, 14 barcode.
The amount for this chargeback is $5 per carton or package. Vendors who consistently maintain a compliance rate of 10% or less will be charged $15 per carton or package. You can prevent the charge back by a fixing a label with required information to each carton or package in your shipment. The cards and content label must show a compliant 20 digit number.
The GS 1, 1 28 standard SSCC, or AMZNCC as plain text and barcode and an advanced shipment notification, or bill of lading number in text and barcode preferred or a full list of purchase orders, both in text and barcode.
In addition, the advanced shipment notification must include the same carton level identification that is the 20 digit number SSCC or AMZNCC. To avoid this chargeback along with the usual advanced shipment notification required information to avoid a separate advanced shipment notification accuracy chargeback.

Or you can choose to use the vendor central labels when submitting a routing request. Or advanced shipment notification for your purchase order. This latter option will ensure that your labels are always vendor essential compliant, packages without a carton label will have to be received through a manual received process and Amazon’s fulfillment center.
This increases the labor costs and time between shipment from your warehouse to your product being available on Amazon. If Amazon can receive your shipments through an automated process, using the information provided on the carton or package labels, you will experience fewer invoice discrepancies due to the higher degree of accuracy involved in this automated receipt process.
