When making a product selection, most customers turn to reading reviews. They look at negative reviews to find out directly what it is about the product or service that the user did not like having some negative reviews is okay. In fact it is better than okay. Because it authenticate the review process.

Perception is key when looking at it from a customer’s point of view, if a large number of reviews are negative, rather than positive, that is not good. Even if you have more positive reviews and negative, but the number of positive to negative reviews are still close.
That still is not good. The goal is to get a large number of reviews. So many reviews that the number of positive far outweighs the negative and the ratings remain four or above the benefit of having so many positive reviews is that they beat out the negative feedback and in effect, deem them insignificant in the long run.
So how do you get so many reviews? Simply ask. If you ask every one of your customers who purchased a product to submit feedback and a review, then the chances of receiving a review, obviously wells. If you don’t ask, then it will not be top of mind for your customer to leave a review unless, and here’s the rub.
They have a negative experience and want to either blast you as the seller or let the whole internet know not to buy the product. As we all know through the amount of emails that flood our inboxes every day, there are automated ways of reaching out to customers, but there are non-automated tactics as well. One tactic is to create a marketing insert that ships with the product itself.
When a customer opens the package, an insert that offers a friendly reminder about leaving a review. Puts the ask right in front of them. And top of mind, this could be in a form of a traditional flyer, a pamphlet or a bookmark or any other type of promotional card. The objective is to ask the customer and make it easy for them to do it.
Provide simple instructions of where to go on Amazon to leave their review or feedback. Many customer simply just don’t know the steps of how or where to go to leave a review. The goal is to ask for the review and then make it easy for the customer to do so. And always remember to check Amazon’s terms of service before printing a large number of insert two stuff into the box.
How you ask is extremely important. You cannot make any promises or incentivize shoppers to give you a good review. You can ask for an honest, But you cannot ask for a good or positive review. This is strictly against Amazon’s terms of service. Remember that Amazon takes their review system very seriously with the ant goal of having every customer who leaves a review provide one with honesty and authenticity.
If you are selling a good product, they’re receiving good reviews.
