When selling on a large e-commerce platform like Amazon staying top of mind to customers can be a challenge with so many competitors fighting for shopper’s attention. How does your brand stay in front of the pack. Engaging with customers and answering their questions is important for developing a relationship and building brand loyalty.
show moreAmazon’s official contributions is a program that allows brands to communicate with customers through the Amazon platform in an official capacity and asked a brand authority. Amazon is very protective and keeping customers, names, addresses, and pertinent information within their database. So communicating with customers in this fashion is a huge opportunity for brands.
Amazon provides resources, so you can stay abreast of customers, questions, and comments, and an easy and timely manner. There is no need to check every listing daily. Rather Amazon has notifications and reporting tools on both the vendor central and seller central platforms. So you can communicate openly with your customers.
Amazon allows manufacturers and sellers to answer customer’s questions and comment on reviews. Submitted through each section on their product detail pages, your answers will be marked with a manufacturer’s Baird, so that customers know it is the official response from you. It’s important to note that permissions must be given to a non admin user. Once permissions are enabled, Amazon will automatically forward customers questions to the email associated with the permissions. This ensures the manufacturer badge will appear next to the response. Amazon will only send fact-based questions for brands to respond to like what material is a product made from questions that relate to fulfillment and shipping or subjective opinions such as likes and dislikes will not be forwarded to manufacturing.
It’s okay. If you accidentally provide an incorrect answer, the assigned contributor or person who provided the answer can edit it when they are logged into Amazon. However, the new Anta will not be displayed with a manufacturer. Badge questions must be answered within 30 days of the questions being asked.
Amazon will only remove answers if they violate community guidelines, not for content. If you feel the review is inappropriate and does not conform to Amazon’s guidelines, please contact them directly. Instead of posting an official comment, you can include Amazon links or external links to your brand’s website.

The answers should help potential customers make purchasing decisions. A simple thank you. Or just try it. Doesn’t influence or motivate a consumer. So these simple replies are not allowed.
