Amazon provides tools that you can stay abreast of existing and new customers, questions and comments, and their reviews in an effort to enhance the customer experience and provide a way for brands to engage directly with a shopper. Amazon allows brands to answer customer’s questions and comment on reviews through their monitor platform.

But Amazon also allows you to download report as another option. These reports are generated weekly from Sunday to Saturday and contain links. So you can post your answers and comments without having to search for it. This video will cover how to download these reports and use this tool to reply to customers questions in comments.
First Amazon does post guidelines that must be read and accepted before allowing you access to download the reports. These guidelines must be accepted each time and are as follows. Do not use answers or comments to challenge a customer’s opinions or experiences. Amazon clearly expresses that customers come first.
And all of their opinions are respected, regardless if they are positive or critical, no cross-selling or upselling for other marketing messages are allowed. Be polite and professional. Amazon does not tolerate any type of abuse to their customers. Your allows to other product detail pages on Amazon are allowed.
Non-Amazon URLs that point directly to a page that help answer the question are also allowed. If the page complies with all of the other guidelines. Examples may include pages, showing product specifications, pictures, manuals, or customer service information to not ask for a customer’s contact details. Instead provide your customer service point of contact.
Do not discuss your competitors. Correcting factual inaccuracies is fine. As long as it’s done respectfully. In addition, Amazon has these specific guidelines for commenting on reviews. Don’t feel compelled to respond to every review comments. Like thanks for the review will be blocked by moderation. Only respond.
If you can add value to the conversation and do not attempt to change a customer’s mind or prove that their review is wrong. And lastly, there are specific guidelines for answering questions. Short and precise answers are best. Speed is critical. Customers are more likely to purchase your product if you get them an answer within two hours.
And of course, Amazon clearly states that any violation of those guidelines will result in removal from the program.
