Seller feedback is important to give a potential new customer insight into a brand or seller’s performance from a past customer. It differs from seller ratings is that seller ratings is based on an American metric with a rating point system of One to Five. This rating is highly complex weighted.

It is a way for a customer to post positive or negative feedback based on your selling performance. It provides social proof for new customers to help them determine if a seller is worthy of their business.
Since most new customers turn to other people’s experiences on Amazon, as a gauge, it’s important for sellers to maintain a positive customer experience or risk getting dinged in feedback. So how can a customer leave seller feedback? Here we can see on the seller profile page, there is a link leave seller feedback.
Clicking on this link takes a customer to the leave seller feedback page, where they can rate their experience. No. If the customer is not logged into their Amazon account, they will be prompted to do. Once on the page. All items, the customer has previously ordered automatically populates onto the page.
The customer can rate one seller or sellers from their prior purchases. As we see here, they can choose between a one and five star rating. They can answer whether or not the item was described correctly by the seller. They could post a comment of up to 400 characters long. And lastly, they can change the name that will display next to the feedback if they desire.
