For the purpose of this course and the agreements that are generated from promotions created through vendor central. We are going to take a brief look at the following promotions that apply namely lightning deals, best deals and price discounts. You should submit a lightning deal or base deal at least four weeks ahead of the time when you wanted to run.
show morePrice discounts must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the desired start date. All of these campaigns or promotions can be created by selecting promotions from the dropdown menu of the merchandising tab on the top menu of your vendor, central dashboard. Here, you can select the type of campaign you wish to create and follow the onscreen instructions.
You can also view existing campaigns on this page. Some things to take note of while we are talking of these promotions are that you can click any created campaign on the promotions page to see the status of the campaign, including if it has been approved and approved promotion could be suspended.
There may be an action you can take such as adding more funding to ensure your deal will run as planned. And an approved campaign may not run if it no longer meets the quality thresholds on the start date. In that case, it will say approved, but did not run.
