When we took a deeper dive and analyzed the search terms in more detail, we reviewed how words were being conveyed individually. And not as a phrase as indicated, the data could easily be misinterpreted by customers who take the information at face value.

Amazon has provided many ways to dissect these customer reviews beyond what is shown here on the detailed page. There are subsections to take a look. Let’s continue to dive further into death. Wish coffee here in this review section, it’s evident that there are 17,871 customer reviews by the big bold heading and a high level snapshot.
It also reveals that 81% of these reviews garnered a five-star rating. If we eliminate the three-star rating as a neutral review, we can see that 90% of the reviews were positive. I’m 6% of the reviews are less than stellar clicking on this link. And this read reviews at mentioned, section reveals more details about these reviews.
On this customer review page, there is a lot of information to scour through. So let’s begin immediately evident at the top of the page are two buckets on the left are top positive reviews and on the right, our top critical reviews under each review, there is the ability to click to see more within each section.
We’ll first start with the positive reviews.
Clicking on that link reveals over 16,000 reviews. That’s a lot to read through. So we’ll filter down some more. We can sort by top rated for most recent for this exercise. We’ll use top rated. Next we’ll go into store by verified purchasers, only verified purchasers are those customers that have purchased a product from Amazon.
This ensures that their product is the exact product that was listed on the page used by the shopper and review.
The next sort provides a few more options here. We can sort by number of stars, all positive and or critical. We’ll choose all positive.
Now we’ll choose one pound. Here is where alternate product sizes and offerings appear. And lastly, we can select whether or not we will, like we viewed with images and videos only we’ll select text images and videos for this exercise here, we can filter these results further and in the word freshness into the field, narrows down the listings to 122 reviews.
Once again, the search term is highlighted where it’s found. So a person can easily spot where the search term appears. Since these results are sorted by positive reviews, it reveals that 122 reviews mention the word freshness in what is perceived a positive way.
Here we will change the sort to five stars only that brings the total count down to 104 reviews and if we change it to four stars only, it shows 18 total in four. And five-star reviews together is 122 that’s right back where we started. Also it’s important to note that all variations of the word freshness is being captured.
As we see here with the highlighted words, fresh changing the search term, two strong delivers a lot more results. 2,629 positive reviews and close to 2000 for the word flavor. The search term, organic delivers 118 positive reviews. So, what does this all mean for a brand at a very high level? We learned earlier that death wish is positioning the brand as an organic brand that fresh and flavorful or featured benefits in the enhanced brand content.
And roughly a third of the reviews mentioned these three key content areas. Hey brand can use this data to evaluate whether their core message is resonating with the target consumer for death. Wish these key points are perceived as a positive influence overall and a positive brand experience.
