The store is built a user interface split into four sections. We’re going to go into each section in detail to show you how to start building out your own store. The first section is the page manager located on the left-hand side of the screen. The page manager is where you will add a new store page, create sub pages.
show moreRearrange the order of pages in the navigation bar, renamed pages and access to page templates. You can access the store settings by clicking at the top of the page manager here, you can change your brand display, name, your logo, and the display of your logo and the hair region. If for any reason you would like to delete your store, this is where you’ll have the option.
The second section is the tile manager located on the right hand side. The tile manager is where you’ll add, edit, rearrange, and delete content tiles. From the current page, we’re going to add a couple of content tiles to showcase how this works. We want to start a store with a hero image. Next. We want to add some category content tiles by going into the split section area and adding some varying content tiles.
We would like to alternate the layout of this particular content and tile. So when we go to add the same content tile, we can click flip all horizontally at the top. And the tile manager, we can now see that it has been populated with the content tiles that we have added. The name of each content. Tile is either the number of tiles within that content tile or the type of content that tiles filled with.
If you would like to upload content, either click the name of the content tile, or if you see an ad, a title link click here. You’ll be given the option of what type of tile would like to add. If you would like to delete a section, click the top of each content tile and click delete. Next up is to preview window.
The centerpiece of the store builder, preview windows updated constantly. As you create your store, whether you add a new page, upload an image, or add a product. Clicking on a tile, open it for editing in the tile manager at the top of the preview window is a couple of useful options here. You can have some useful help features as well as a preview window where you can view a functioning preview of your store.
Lastly is the status bar located at the top of the star builder. And the top left corner is the moderation set. This tells you the current status of the store. And since we just started creating our store, our project is not live. And the right-hand quarter is the moderator status here. One of four possible messages will show up either your store is not submitted, meaning it’s in draft mode and progress.
Meaning the current draft is under review by a moderation approved, which means it is live or failed. Which means your star rejected and needs to be fixed.
