Month to date or MTD is a period starting at the beginning of the current calendar month and ending at the current date month over month, or MON means that our report or data for a specific month range of 30 or 31 days is being compared to the previous months data.

Year to date, or YTD is a period starting at the beginning of the current calendar year and ending at the current date.
Year over year or YOY means that a report or data for a specific year range of 365 days is being compared to the previous year’s data.
A quarter refers to a quarter of a year. This can be financial or calendar based. That is from one January to 31 months. One, April to 30 June one, July to 30 September and one October to 31 December quarter four or Q4 on Amazon is normally from one October, the 2 31 December.
