show moreThere are shipping options available to sellers, but they must meet performance metrics in order to offer these services. The first option we will review is premium shipping. Premium shipping allows you to provide shipping options to customers. Customers select faster delivery times, usually one or two days, and you provide them with tracking information so they can get a clear understanding of when they can expect to receive their delivery.
Premium delivery is not available to all sellers. Brands must meet these eligibility requirements in order to offer premium shipping options. First, you must be selling on Amazon for more than 90 days, and second for 30 days, you must have had a valid tracking rate of 99%. And an on time delivery score rate of 97% or greater, and a seller initiated cancellation rate of less than 0.5%.
In the United States. Premium shipping options include one day shipping or two day shipping, which you can enable in your shipping settings. And once you start shipping with premium shipping options, Amazon will determine your ongoing eligibility by your delivery performance for orders with premium shipping, excluding seller fulfilled orders with a prime badge.
You can see whether or not you are eligible for premium shipping by accessing their premium shipping eligibility dashboard. The dashboard tracks your eligibility to participate in the program. The dashboard can be found by clicking on the performance tab, on the top navigation bar, and then clicking eligibilities.
You can also deactivate premium shipping by updating your shipping templates under shipping settings, and clear the one day delivery and two day delivery options. If the performance targets fall below the requirements, your eligibility for premium shipping may be revoked, but you can submit a plan of action to request the restoration of your eligibility to premium shipping.
The second shipping option available to sellers who are fulfilling orders directly is seller fulfilled. This option allows you to list your products as prime eligible and handle the fulfillment yourself. You can display the prime badge on the products you already ship directly to customers with two day shipping and free standard shipping.
There is no fee to enroll in seller fulfilled Prime, however. You must satisfy performance requirements during a trial period and demonstrate that you can meet customer service expectations. After successfully completing the trial, you’re automatically enrolled in the program. Sellers who are approved and enroll their products in seller fulfilled Prime will be able to provide prime shipping benefits to Amazon Prime members.
In addition, you must meet or exceed the following performance requirements at all times. First, you must have an on time shipment rate of at least 99% on prime orders.
