Performance notifications provide important alerts that might affect your account health and ability to sell on Amazon. On the Seller Central platform, there are many different ways you will be notified of concerns. Issues, possible suspensions or other action items you must perform in order to keep your account in good health and a good standing with Amazon.
show moreSince performance notifications are critical action items, we will review how you are notified in ways to access them. When you log into Seller Central at the top of the dashboard, a newer alert will appear here. You can click directly onto this alert and it will take you to the performance notification page.
Another way to access a listing of your performance notifications is from the top navigation bar. Under the performance tab, you’ll see performance notifications. Once on the performance notification page, you’ll see a listing of all the notifications you have received. You can ingest the number that appears on the page here and use the filter options if you have a lot of notifications or there is one particular one you were looking for.
Clicking on the subject opens up a new page where the pertinent details are. That includes replies from Amazon and action items, or next steps necessary to resolve your issue. Performance notifications can be as severe as account or ASIN suspension to notifications that your account is under review. To informing you that a customer requested a refund in exchange for a product return, or that one of your performance metric, like your order defect rate is high and above the target and corrective action steps should be taken to bring your metrics more in line with Amazon’s target.
Performance notifications are a reflection of your performance as a seller and should not be taken lightly. If you do receive an alert, be sure to take the necessary corrective action to avoid suspension from Amazon.
