Amazon provides an eCommerce marketplace so you can market your brand and sell your products to customers. The more you sell, the more money Amazon makes, so it’s in their best interest and yours to provide an easy way to know exactly the status of each customer order. So here on the Seller Central dashboard is a your orders widget that provides a snapshot of recent orders.
show moreAt a glance, you can see orders that are pending, premium unshifted, prime unshifted, unshifted, and return requests. There is also a breakdown of products that are seller fulfilled, that is orders that are shipped out of your warehouse and fulfilled by Amazon, which means shipped from Amazon’s warehouse.
Being able to see the status of your orders as soon as you sign into Seller Central allows you to attend to these orders right away? Shipping orders out on time is an important metrics that impacts your seller performance ratings. We will dig deeper into shipping metrics later in this course, but having the ability to see your order status enables you to react quickly and ensures your shipments are being dispatched in a timely fashion and engaged with customers if needed.
