A no-show charge back occurs when the carrier does not show up for the confirmed delivery slot and the vendor or carrier does not cancel or reschedule the confirmed appointment in advance on time. Bookings into fulfillment centers are critical for the smooth running of the entire Amazon operation.

Not only because of personnel who are waiting to receive your delivery, but also for stock and inventory planning. They also block space at the fulfillment center doc, which would’ve been assigned to a different vendor. If the information had been known before, the amount for this chargeback is 250 US dollars for a truckload and 90 US dollars for less than truckload.
You can prevent this charge back by ensuring that your carrier keeps the scheduled appointment time and informs Amazon via cart. If they are not able to meet the timeline note, that it is imperative that you align with your carrier when creating the appointment booking in cart to avoid duplicate appointments, being created, duplicate appointments will be subject to chargebacks.
This chargeback only applies for truckload or less than truckload prepaid shipments. If you are using Amazon’s collect or preferred carrier program, you will not be impacted by the no show chargeback.
