If you would prefer to list all of your products via spreadsheet, you can do so for a single item in the event does not show up as being sold on Amazon. When you put the products ID in the block as mentioned previously, or you are listing many products all in one, go as before from the dropdown menu of the items tab on the top menu, select add products.
show moreOn the next page, you will then select the categories you would like to list your products under. If your product type is enlisted, it may require approval, be restricted, or your application for it is under review.
In this instance, list your product under the remaining categories that are suitable, that you can miss products under and contact Amazon directly through your cases to ask them when and how you can list in a particular category. You are currently not able to. You can also remove a category at the bottom of this pop-up block if you accidentally ticked the wrong one.
It is important to note here that selecting multiple product types will require the use of a bulk product spreadsheet. You’ll be able to download the spreadsheet after you click continue, make sure that you review your chosen categories in the bottom cell before clicking continue.
You can then opt to download a blank template, or you can then select the, add a single product button or the add multiple products with NS template on the next page. You again, can select whether you would like a spreadsheet template for a single product or multiple products. You can select the category. You wish to list the products in. You can choose the template you wish to use, and then you can select download template. Once you have opened up the template, you can then proceed to complete all the relevant information as it pertains to your product.
Note that the column headers in orange denote information that is required. So all of these must be completed. Once you’ve done one of these spreadsheets for your full catalog listing, you can then duplicate the entire listing for each of the other categories and vendor codes. You wish to list your product under if more than one and upload the full and final template.
If you selected all categories, then you would be able to choose subcategories on the template for each product and only needs complete one template for these categories. Once you have all of your templates ready? You can go back to the same, add products page and click choose file under the upload products, head at the bottom of the page. Select your file and then click the yellow submit button. It normally takes Amazon about 24 hours for them to accept or reject your product listings and your products will then appear in your catalog with an ASIN. If one is not already present for that product in Amazon, this is when you can add images and video.
It is also important to note that your templates do allow for you to create your variations here as well. So if you have planned your inventory properly, you can create the twisters or variations in the bulk upload and avoid having to do this later. You can also use this template to upload inventory for direct fulfillment.
If you plan on doing direct fulfillment for any of your products and simply choose a relevant vendor code on the spreadsheet for the products that are being filled via direct fulfillment. If there are errors in your submissions on these spreadsheets, vendor central will tell you in a matter of minutes after you have uploaded the spreadsheet under the product submission summary in the top right side of the page, click on the number value alongside the errors line, and it will take you to a page where you can download the errors in the spreadsheets, fix them then and there, and re-upload them on the same page.
You can also view your product submissions by going to the items tab on the top menu in vendor central and selecting view product submissions from the dropdown menu provided. You can again, select download the template with errors in it and fix them in the template and reload them on the same page.
