Vendor Central: Why is Amazon Not Placing Purchase Orders

Maybe the reason Amazon is not placing purchase orders for your products is because they’re missing the UPC or the cost. If you need to insert a UPC or EAN for your product, go to the items tab on the top menu, vendor central and select edit products from the dropdown menu, you can then select which product or products you would like to edit the UPC on.

This will take you through to the individual tabs per item, select the product identity tab and scroll down to the external product ID header. Make sure to select the UPC or EAN or GSEN as needed from the relevant dropdown menu.

Select the offer tab at the top and enter cost price in the cost price text box on their page. You will then click the submit and continue button to the top right of the page, and can then proceed to edit the next product listing you selected on the first page.
