Perhaps you would also like to amend the release date so that Amazon can be sure to have stock prior to this date. If you have gone ahead and updated the product site launch date to a day or two in the future, as explained in the previous video, perhaps you would like to move forward to setting the release date now to five days or seven days from that date to prompt Amazon, to place purchase orders for this product before the release date.
show moreYou can do this by selecting catalog from the dropdown menu of the items tab on the top menu of vendor central, to locate your products again, by pasting or typing the ASIN or UPC or model number into the relevant text box and clicking the search button. Once you have located your product, click the box to the left of the product, and then click the edit product details button in the top right side of the page.
On the next page, click the product details tab and scroll down until you find the release date field on the right side of the page. In the calendar box to the right of it. Enter a date five to seven days after the product site launched date, you selected to alert Amazon systems that they will need to have stock before this release date and generate purchase orders for these products. Click the submit and continue button to save your changes.
